The Blueair Pro series uses a revolutionary new V-shaped filter design that improves the filtration surface area while conserving space. Blueair HEPASilent filters are capable of filtering out 99.97% of air particles at the 0.1 micron level, meaning the Pro M will be able to protect your room from dust, pollen, pet dander, and even small airborne microbes such as bacteria and mold spores. Blueair HEPASilent filter media is naturally antimicrobial, so you dont have to worry about any nasty surprises when you change the filters. You can also supplement the Pro Ms ability to absorb and neutralize gaseous air particles and odors installing a Blueair Pro Carbon+ filter or by substituting the HEPASilent filter with a Blueair SmokeStop filter, which combines the functions of particle filter and odor filter. An electrostatic precipitator charges air particles just before they hit the surface of the filters, causing the charged particles to be drawn to the filter fibers and becoming permanently entangled.

Not only will the Blueair Pro M provide high performance air filtration while consuming relatively small amounts of power, the Pro M is also very quiet. The lowest setting is barely audible, and even the highest setting is quiet enough that it will not distract you during conversation.

To automate your cleaning experience, you can order the Blueair Air Intelligence Module, which installs inside the Pro M just behind the filters. The Air Intelligence Module monitors the particle count in the air of the room and enables your Pro M to automatically adjust its performance based upon the cleaning required. If there are higher particle counts, the fan will speed up until the air is clean again, at which point it will automatically slow the fan down.
